Recently, Sencil Council, a leading think-tank in the world, issued its 4th report on Somaliland and Somalia. The report mentions the facts in Somaliland.
Somaliland suffered of terrorist attacks long before 9/11, particularly after bombing of U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. UN and Foreign Aid workers were targeted by the terrorists in Somaliland. Islamic Fundamentalists bombed many sensitive areas in Somaliland including Military bases.
